SPEAKER INFORMATION

Brian T. D. Bowman
Practices as a business lawyer with a specialization in areas related to privacy, access to information, intellectual property and technology matters.
Brian is a nationally recognized leader in privacy and access to information law. He is the immediate Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association's National Privacy and Access Law Section and has been acknowledged by the Canadian Privacy Law Review as one of Canada's "leading privacy law authorities".
Brian is sought out for his entrepreneurial approach to legal matters related to emerging and established businesses, products and services.
Brian is a frequent speaker, media commentator and author. He writes a regular column entitled "On the Cutting Edge" in the Business Section of the Winnipeg Free Press. Links to these articles can be found on our web site on this page
Brian is a passionate supporter of the community, being involved in numerous volunteer efforts including serving as President & CEO of the Alumni Association of the University of Manitoba and Director to the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
