President's Message 2006-2007

Welcome to the ISACA Winnipeg Chapter Web Site. Our chapter is part of a global organization with 170 chapters established in over 70 countries worldwide

We have recently started a new year and I am pleased to announce our new board members.

The primary purpose of the Chapter is to promote individual member education for the improvement and development of capabilities in the field of IS Audit, Control, Security Management and Governance. We do this by providing world-class IT Audit, Control and Security Management training at a reasonable cost to our members and the IT community as a whole.

This year we will be offering a mix of luncheon and breakfast presentations as well as single and multi-day sessions on topics of interest to those in the IS Audit, Control and Security Management Community. Please check out our past and future events schedules.

As a volunteer organization we are always seeking new volunteers. We welcome your assistance and input to operate our chapter. Should you require further information please feel free to contact me or any of our board members, we would be happy to help you.
